To support our finance team with day-to-day operations, we are looking for a Junior Finance Manager at our headquarter in Berlin. You should have a genuine interest in trends within the hospitality world and be able to identify with the principles and ethos of the Slow vision. Content creation and community are core pillars for our businesses; prior experience working with these in a financial role would be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in controlling of our Slow places & projects worldwide
- Independently maintain controlling system
- Support in construction controlling, mainly of our project Marina Marina in Berlin
- Conduct reviews & evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Provide support in the preparation of the company’s budget, overall and for the individual places worldwide
- Assist with year-end audit process
- Collect all necessary data & information for cash flow forecast
- Produce regular financial reports for the company & its places
- Support in invoicing process
- Assist in the preparation of board & shareholder reporting
- Liaise with all departments regularly for efficient planning of financial resources
- Maintain overall financial health of the entire organization
Qualifications
- BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or similar
- 2 years of experience as a controller, auditor, accountant, or similar roles
- Profound experience will be considered if no university degree
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- (Basic) experience in financial modeling
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English

We are looking for a Floor Manager to take charge in maintaining the quality of service given at the restaurant in the Treehouse. The manager must have time management skills, be able to solve problems and make decisions quickly and safely. Another fundamental competence is to be able to proactively identify the needs and preferences of customers.
As a Floor Manager, you are responsible for the restaurant staff, have excellent organizational skills and are able to give clear, direct and concise instructions.

- Coordinate daily restaurant operations

- Respond to complaints efficiently and accurately
- Regularly review product quality
- Organize and supervise
- Estimate future needs for goods
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Requirements
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Minimum 1 year experience in comparable position
